INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION
Entre 2008 e 2015, ocorreram cerca de 657 adoções de crianças do Cadastro Nacional de Adoção – gerido pela Corregedoria Nacional de Justiça do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) – por pretendentes internacionais.
Uma das inovações do novo Cadastro Nacional de Adoção (CNA) do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), implantado em março, é justamente a inclusão de pretendentes estrangeiros.
A maioria das adoções internacionais ocorre por pais italianos. Dos 16 organismos estrangeiros credenciados junto à Autoridade Central Administrativa Federal (Acaf), 13 são da Itália.
É aconselhável escolher o estado de São Paulo para iniciar o processo de adoção, por ter filas de menos tempo de espera e mais crianças disponíveis.
Between 2008 and 2015, there were approximately 657 adoptions of children registrated in the National Registry of Adoption – managed by the National Courts of Justice of the National Justice Council (CNJ) – by international applicants.
One of the innovations of the new National Adoption Registry (CNA) of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), implemented in March, is precisely the inclusion of foreign applicants. Most international adoption takes place by Italian parentes, although parentes of any country are allowed to apply.
Of the 16 foreign bodies accredited to the Federal Central Administrative Authority (Acaf), 13 are from Italy. It is advisable to choose the state of São Paulo to begin the adoption process, by having queues of less waiting time and more children available.
